With her fashion and POV videos, TikTok star “meimonstaa”, whose actual name is Mei Mei, has acquired over 1.9 million followers and over 102 million likes.

Mei claimed in a recently released, but since removed video that if she breaks the clothing code one more time, she may be dismissed from her student-teacher program.

Mei stated in the deleted video that she was reprimanded for wearing a “western-style T-shirt” with a cardigan and formal dress slacks, despite the school’s dress code permitting T-shirts only on Spirit Day.

The TikToker published a second video on February 8, 2022, mocking the fact that her school had dress coded her, telling her admirers that she “still can’t believe [she’s] getting dress coded.”

“I’m a student teacher and I’ve been being dress coded a lot, it’s occurred three times so far,” Mei begins her video, while concurrently displaying her clothing.

Fans have expressed their opinions regarding the scenario in the comments area of the star’s video.

โ€œIdk bestieโ€ฆI feel like theyโ€™re gonna find SOMETHING to dress code you for,โ€ one fan said.

โ€œHave they told you specifically why youโ€™ve been dress coded so you can avoid it? Because your fits have literally been harmless,โ€ another user questioned.

โ€œI feel like theyโ€™re dress coding you for looking attractive and they seem that distracting. But itโ€™s not your fault youโ€™re beautiful and have style,โ€ another TikToker stated.

Mei has stayed silent since then on whether or not she received a new dress code, but one thing is certain: her followers appear to be quite supportive of her fashion choice.
