Taylor Swift Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From NYU

The New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts conferred an honorary doctorate in fine arts to singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. In a cap, blue gown, and black outfit, Taylor Swift arrived at Yankee Stadium in New York. She also gave a speech at the New York University’s 2022 all-school graduation event, which took place in May of this year.

In her speech, she thanked her family and friends for helping her achieve the goal.  Despite the fact that “words are supposed to be my thing,” Taylor Swift noted in her address that “I will never be able to find the words to thank my mom and my dad, and my brother, Austin, because no words will ever be enough.”

In a brief video before traveling to the ceremony, Taylor Swift gave her followers a preview of her graduation attire in a brief video. She shared a video of herself in her cap and gown during the commencement exercises.

It begins with the “Love Story” singer staring out of a vehicle window. It then shows her with leopard print heels, a black sleeveless dress, and an enormous graduation gown on top. Adding the finishing touches to her appearance, she chose a yellow tassel graduation hat and crimson lipstick.

At the beginning of her career, Taylor Swift had hit songs including “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me.” She went on to have a string of hits, including “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.” ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Shake It Off’ are two of her best-known songs. Taylor Swift has received 11 Grammy Awards, one Emmy Award, and has been on the Time 100 and Forbes Celebrity 100 lists many times.
