In anticipation of the forthcoming school year, Chipotle has launched a new contest to give back to teachers throughout the country. The well-known brand has announced that starting the week of August 15, they will provide over $1 million worth of burritos to teachers at 2,000 schools.

Anyone may nominate their favorite K-12 teacher via the company’s social media channels through August 12 for the “Chipotle Burritos 4 Teachers” Promotion. There is room for submissions on their various social media pages.

Those submitting their nominations are given the opportunity to provide a personal letter detailing why they think the educator deserves to win.

Chipotle will conduct a random selection after the contest concludes to give up to 2,000 schools a “burrito package,” which will be given to the school where the teacher currently works.
