After authorities claim a five-year-old kid attacked a Florida teacher, the instructor was taken to the hospital and the youngster might face charges.
According to a report from KSAT’s sister station WKMG, the event occurred shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pine Lakes Elementary in Pembroke Pines, Fla.
The boy was placed in a “cool down” area after he and a 4-year-old began throwing stuff about and flipping chairs, according to the incident report. The boy allegedly struck his instructor with his hands and feet.
Officers arrived at the school and saw the instructor seated against a wall on the ground. According to WKMG, the instructor was “faint,” “weak,” and “dazed.”
Firefighters carried the teacher out of the classroom on a stretcher and brought her to a local hospital.
According to WKMG, the 5-year-old is charged with aggravated assault with hands, fists, and feet.
